In GALANTIQUA we offer a personalized service for searching pieces of art and antiques. Sometimes you search a very special piece that is not easy to find, maybe because you don't have time enough to do it, or maybe because no one knows exactly where to find it.

We offer a professional and personalized service that will help you in this task. As specialists in search of works of art and antiques, we can find the piece of art you want in the shortest possible time.

As a personal service to attend to each query individually, we will adapt to the needs of each client. We are not interested in the piece itself, being completely objective and without any commercial interest in the final price of the piece.

There are pieces that are easier to find, and others, however, for several reasons, there are much more complicated to find. So at the moment we recibe your inquiry, we will make a pre-study and we will send you an estimate budget for all the costs of the search procedure.

Appraisal of works of art and antiquities

 

The appraisal includes a detailed report of the piece following a strict code of ethics and professional secrecy on their expertise. This type of report is suitable for those who have to value a piece, both for a testamentary division, an auction room or just an individual who wants to know the price of a piece for selling it, securing it properly or for colaborating with an Insurance Company.

The valuation and appraisal of antiques will be conducted taking into account issues such as evolution and state of the art market (both national and international), the fluctuations in prices, the prices of the auctions and the prices of the works of art in antique shops and galleries of art of direct selling. Using a methodology of appraisal and economic criteria we are able to establish the true value of the property.

We do not buy the pieces we value, being completely independent and objective in our work and without any commercial interest in the final price of the piece.

Cataloging work of art and antiquities

 

The cataloging includes a brief report detailing the piece marked with its identification, which doesn't include the market value. Its purpose is the development and organization of criteria that respond to a logical order and that facilitate the understanding of the work of art, according to their aesthetic appreciation, technique, materials, dimensions, photographs, etc ...as well as a brief comparison with other similar pieces of the market of art.

This valuation of the work of art is carried out taking into account the above mentioned aspects using a comprehensive and detailed methodology.

This type of report is suitable for people who wish to have his work classified. This type of document is important if there is any type of loss; for example, if a piece of value is stolen, it is essential to have a photo to contribute to the complaint, and if some data about it is provided, that will be of great help when trying to retrieve it.

In case of having a very large collection, is advisable to first make a catalog of the goods, and then a valuation of all (or just a part of them) would be done.
